This demonstration shows some of the fun you can have with secondary behavior (i.e. stuff that moves because the thing it's attached to moves). In this example the motion of the entire dog-thing is secondary. It is attached at the nose to a sphere which is moved around under user control. A dashpot between the nose of the dog and the sphere does all the work. Everything else on the dog is controlled by sets of linear and angular dashpots.

Controls:
ARROW KEYS: control movement of the dog
"b": beg
